Thanks all the replys. I will look into heavier weight rod. As for the craw fly I will try the spun method. After I got to the lake to test it I realized I had the pinchers on the eye side of the hook. This won't work. I need te pichers to be on the hook side so when I strip line the claws don't act all weird. Next imatation will be a
