Was just wondering as I sit here on the porch in the 105 degree setting evening sun.... Do fish particularly bass become more active after severe weather during the hottest summer months? Do drops or increase in barometric pressure cause them to feed more or less?

For instance after a cold snap in La the redfishing anywhere in Myrtle Grove all the way down to Venice would be off the hook for 48hrs....

Just wondering if there were any patterns in the summer heat that may provide good fishing...

When it is really hot I love to hit the water from about midnight till 3-4am. The moon is high and there is plenty of light. Poppers man Poppers!

if I did that I'd be smart to go to bed when I get home from work @ 4 and then go to work right after fishing, problem is the lake I fish for bass on is closed after sunset since it's a state park. There are some streams around so maybe i'll try that...

i need to get another gauge as mine got ruined. friends didn't believe in them till i proved them wrong. well worth the money. as for the summer i've found that after a couple days of cooler weather the fishing will turn back on.(hoping for this on saturday)
