What is the secret to keeping ep-fibers under control?
How do you keep ep-fibers from making a huge mess on your fly tying desk? I think I do a pretty good job, but they seem to still be everywhere. I wish they were connected somehow at the top of the bunch. You know what I mean? What do you do?

when you break into a new packet, cut one of the bottom corners off. A small cut, less than a quarter of an inch and push the plastic towards the fiber and pull / tease out a small bunch at a time.
That should help, but as I said the stuff gets all over - especially after shaping it....As bad as shaving spun dear hair...

Good idea flygal! I am going to do that. I took the whole thing out of the bag and tried to hold back the fibers I didn't want and it was kinda a mess.
