Bone Fishing in Cozumel Mexico

I am going on a cruise during the 1st week of June and one of our stops is in Cozumel Mexico. I heard there is some good bone fly fishing there? Can anyone recommend a good guide for this area? Has anyone fished this area for bones??

Re: Bone Fishing in Cozumel Mexico

Hi gvollmer,

I can't recommend a guide but if you do a search on "Cozumel Mexico Bonefish" you will get a bunch of information. I do know that the flats around Cozumel can be hard or soft mud. You would want to fish the hard flats if you want to wade. Of course a guide would know that. I found this site had a lot of information.

Frank
