Hmmm where do I sign up for "punishment"

Rod = 9' 9wt single hand fast action Sage RPLXi since I'm very familiar with it)

Reel = well machined, no maintenance, flawless drag 200 yd 20lb dacron backing + fly line (Pate Bonefish, a bit old school but built like a tank, assuming no Fed Ex services available in "purgatory" for possible but unlikely need for servicing a Tibor Riptide (200 of 30lb backing, also a bit heavy for the rod, but I'd take the backing)

Line = tropical makes me think coral island with flats, so i'd go with a 9 wt Tropical WF Floater (SA Bonefish). Any where else in SW tho, I'd go with WF intermediate.

Leader = 8' butt (40lb clear Ande) to 3' 15lb Hard Mason to optional 1' shock (30-60lb clear Ande). Fly line to butt with an Albright, tippet section biminis on both ends tied to butt and shock with blood Knots, shock to fly Homer Rhodes Loop.

Flies:
1/0 chartreuse over white clouser
2/0 Blue over white deceiver
2 borski shrimpy/crabby looking thing in brown

I'm not much of a gearhead so my choices might seem a bit dated

For a rod, I'd want something tough.. a rod that would hold up to punishment as long as I needed it to.
I'd choose a Winston fiberglass 9' 9wt.

In the same vain, and to balance the fiberglass rod, I'd probably pick an old single-action Valentine reel, but I'd like to see what St.Peter's has in stock before making the final decision.
The Valentines are a proven reel that last forever with little care and have few moving parts.

As for a line definitely a floater, not sure what brand

I'd pick a leader built from Andie mono also.... again....the toughness factor
Andie for tippet and shock tippet material too

I like deceivers and I use a deceiver variation 90% of the time, but they tend to get tore-up after a few toothy fish.
I think I'd go with an all white, synthetic, high/low style fly in 3/0. The extra iron, again, just it's for toughness.
Second choice, a synthetic Clouser in chartreuse over white...1/0
I think peregrines choice of the size 2 Borski Slider is a excellent idea...me too

At first I thought you meant ONE item from the list and that would be line, but, going down the list
1. a 12' of 13' 8 weight...that would cover just about any fish and long enough to get into the surf or if it broke, still have enough left for another rod.
2. ABEL!
3. Sharkskin 8 wt floating or Windcutter 8 wt.
4. Furled leader
5. Three of the most complexed, most material, flies in three different sizes. You can always cut material off and make a whole new fly.

I guess all agrees that you are up to cast as many times as your empty stomach demands. Maximum strength to optimized tackle.

My choice is:

1: 9'0" 10wt Winston BMX
2: Van Stall C-vex 9/10 (probably last longer than me)
3: Intermediate full-line 10wt
4: Seaguar 60lb, 30lb, 15lb (pretty tough against teeth, rocks, corals)
5: 2/0 deceiver, 1/0 clouser, 4 bonefish slider (covering wide range of baits
