Info needed on this Rod...

Can anyone tell me anything about this rod? I believe it is glass, and it used to have a label on it, but looks like is has wore off over the years. It was given to me some time ago, and its previous owner didn't know either.ThanksJake

Well, I can tell you it is an old Medalist reel LOL.
Not sure on the rod, could be Berkly or Shakesphere, or maybe even Fenwick, but I doubt that cause there are no wrappings at the butt.

Jake I posted the picture of your rod on another forum. These guys really know their stuff. They need a little more info about it however, so maybe you can check out this site:

The color reminds me of an old Fenwick. My best friend left me one and your's looks very similar.
