Albright Tackle is having a sale right now- I would look into that.

Hi fishman,

Check out The Full Creel that sponsors this site. Steve can fix you up with what you need and ship it for you. The Full Creel carries TFO, Echo, St Croix, Loomis, Winston and Sage rods.

I think you might want to add St Croix Ultra to your list and the Sage Launch.

Frank

Re: looking for #8 or #9 rod

I recently picked up a TFO wide-arbor reel for my son (# 375) to use on his TFO pro 8 weight when he joins me for fishing in Alaska this summer. Retail is around $250, but Sportsman's Warehouse had them on close-out for $99. Synthetic disc drag, sealed bearings, machined, counter-balanced and it has a subtle click when the line is going out. Titanium color, it matches up well with the TFO rods. You might check on the internet to see if anyone else has them on sale, as I am not sure if Sportsman's Warehouse will ship merchandise. Good luck. MC
