Hi to all,
Dorian is right about the Echo Classic and the St Croix Avid. They are both good rods. The Avid would be another $100 over the TFO Pro. I think the Echo and TFO are about the same price. Frank

The Echo Classic 5 wt is my recommendation. Get a SA Headstart fly line and it will turn over small poppers and hopper patterns well.

Get your self a new rod fursure, but don't retire the Siliflex
It's a perfectly good rod and it only takes a few minutes to rewrap a guide You'll be happy you did
