The Legend Ultra will catch fish pretty good if I wave it right I think. As will they all. I needed a new rod like a hole in the head. But I think it's the right thing to support America's rod builders.

I was waving my rods at some pretty fishy looking rivers this weekend but nobody seemed to be home. Summer dog days? I can't wait until Fall...

[PS - I got a XXD #4 to try on the Legend Ultra. I needed a nuther flyline like a hole in the head... ]

As for line, seriously, check out the Orvis "Superfine". It is a thinner taper and it is fantastic on the lighter rods. It is a WF, but I think I like it even better than my SYLK which is a thinner taper also.
