Rod/Reel value question...

First off, this is my first of hopefully many posts on this board, so I'd like to say hi to everyone and announce myself as the new guy...so with that being said, the topic of today is that I have recently come across a fly rod/reel combo that appears to be very old (antique possibly), and it is in near mint condition. I would like to know if anyone on this board knows any more about it, or can let me know a little history. The details are below:

- Fly Rod/Reel combo ( Langley Streamline Action Rod model AT47 )
- Made by Orchard Industries Inc. Detroit MI
- Custom wood box/case

Thanks in Advance!!

Re: Rod/Reel value question...

I would post this question on the fiberglass fly rodders board. Ron Mc and a few others are very knowledeable on the Langleys and the Orchard Industries too. I think there was a recent thread on this subject.
