Sage Launch.

Went to the casting pond this afternoon for a little
exercise with a Sage Launch that I have never taken out
of the tube until today. It is an eight weight, nine footer,
and strung with a WF8F MainStream by Rio. Plan on using
it for Steelhead and other critters found in the Rogue
River.
Anyway the rod casts beautifully. Rollcasts were
easy and the rod handled long casts with ease. Have
been discussing the Sage FLi and Winston Vapor with one
of the local fly shop owners/guides. My preference in rods
is in the stiff category fast action. Saving my pennies in
hopes of picking up a GLX. Good fishing to you all.
