Has anyone had an opportunity to cast the Sage TCR?
A friend of mine bought one of the beasts and he let me
cast it. The only thing I can say is Holy Crap. Without
discussing the price of this rod, does anyone have any
thoughts about it?? Just stiring the pot over heah boss!!

Re: Sage TCR.

Hey Snuffy

I have cast the monster and found that it was GOOD but since I don't do alot of bone fishing I just can't bring myself to lay out that much green for a rod that I might use once every 2 to 3 years so I stick to my XP series to do triple duty as a steelhead/bonefish/red drum rod

Re: Sage TCR.

Parking lot queen rods. I cannot see how they would be any good in actual fly fishing. Well, maybe for saltwater but I cannot imagine catching trout on one. Too dang stiff. I would rather spend ten bucks and just put guides on a broom.
