Suggestions for streamer rod?

I fish a lot of tailwaters in AR and it's mostly either streamer fishing or nymphing. I like my TFO Pro 5wt for all around but it doesn't handle the heavier bugs and lines very well. Sometimes I wade...sometimes I'm on friend's boat.

I'd like to get a quality entry level rod(about $150) that I'd keep rigged for throwing streamers using sinking tips. What weight should I consider(6 or 7) and what are some good rods for this besides TFO?

Re: Suggestions for streamer rod?

I'd get a 7wt ECHO classic. Good powerful rod, but priced well and pretty easy to cast.
