fly logic reels?

Does anyone have any expericence with Fly Logic reels? The price seems reasonable, but I know nothing about them. This is a large arbor for 11/12/13wt... saltwater use.

Thanks!

Re: fly logic reels?

They have been out of business for several years unless someone bought the name. Warranty repair, parts and service will be an issue.

Re: fly logic reels?

I bought a new FlyLogic reel 5/6/7 and spare spool this past year. Apparently someone has taken up manufacturing them. I stuck it on a 9 1/2 ft. 6 wt. Sage Fli and have used it pretty hard. Even used it in Erie on Steelhead this past November and it worked out well. I've been surprised at how well the drag handles those fish. I also like the fact that the drag adjustment is easy to get to with cold, wet hands. For a $65 reel I've been quite satisfied.
