Mistake?

Hey everyone,

Super quick question for everyone. Recently had an okuma combo stolen out of my garage, so I decided to treat myself to what the local store had(I had a gift card), and I got a okuma helios 5/6. My question is this, I have never had anything in the 5/6 range, is that considered too big for small trout?

Thanks!
Matt

Re: Mistake?

As long as it balances on the rod (i.e., you're not using it with a 6' 2wt ),
that should be dandy! I have a bunch Okuma SLV 5/6 reels, and use them
on big and small fish regularly.
