Hey everyone!!! I had just recently purchased a new fly reel.It is a Okuma Helios H89a.I was wondering if anyone has any comments or any helpful tips on maintenance.Thank you!!!

Hi mirimichi fisher,

It looks like a strong reel. You should give it a good work out on the Mirimichi Salmon. Make sure you give us a report on how you like it after some use. It does seem to have an awful lot of parts. It also has bar-stock construction with two ball bearings. Should be smooth. Probably a good buy for the money if all of those parts hold together or don't wear out.
