Re: Scents on flys
Personally, I think presentation and a buggy looking fly is all that you need. When I tie I try for a fly that looks like what it is meant to imitate. I do know of one nationally acclaimed guide and author that dips his flies in pheronomes; I think that's how you spell it, to help with his catch rate. I guess you need to catch a lot more fish to stay in the guide business. If you want to use scent go for it...As long as you're not breaking any laws...
