Strung Out San Juan Worm

I was wondering if anyone ever used this pattern or one like it. I was looking at buying some flies online and found this pattern at discountflies.com.

Thanks,
Kevin

use them frequently, particularly when they are not moving, with decent results. particularly out west, co and mt, in the winter and have gotten them out of odd places; heavy structure, thin water and deep pools. sometimes i think i'm cheating by using them.

How are those tied together? Is the chenelle strong enough to hold a fish? Can you post the pattern for them.
