Boot Question

Hello,
I am looking for a pair of shoes/boots I can wear in a little stream one day and then wear on the flats the next day. The stream will cause me to have to hike in a little and it has some slick rocks. The next day I will be bone fishing on the flats.
I do not wish to spend an arm and a leg because these will probably not become my everyday wading boots.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Boot Question

To get one boot to do double duty you will need to wet wade at both locations or wear waders at both locations. You need to wet wade the flats with a boot design for such wading. If you get it big enough to go over waders you will have a problem on the flats if you wet wade. A flats boot needs to keep the sand out and fit well enough not to get blisters. I think your best approach is to get two different boots or wet wade in both cases.

Re: Boot Question

wet wading will definitely be the ticket, maybe with a neoprene sock.
