I had a pair of the older style West Branch waders & they developed a leak after 3 years. On my way up to camp in northern Maine I stopped in LL Bean for some other items & just mentioned it to the salesman & he told me to bring them in & he gave me a new pair, When I used them they had some seepage around where the bootie is sewn on to the leg. I exhanged these on my way home. A few weeks later I tried these on & they leaked worse than any of the others. I put an irate call to LL Bean & told them what I thought about their waders. They sent me a pair of their best "Wicked Tough" waders to calm me down & They are without doubt the best waders I have ever owned. You never know how a wader will hold up. You have to go by reputation so a good no questions asked warranty is worth considering when you by waders or anything else for that kind of money..
