Any smallie streams around Davenport IA?
This weekend I have the "pleasure" of going to visit the in-laws near Davenport IA. With any luck I might get to sneak out for an afternoon if I'm on my best behavior... I was hoping someone in-the-know might be able to steer me in the direction of good smallmouth stream in the Quad-cities area. I sniffed around on the internet a little and it seems like most of the trout streams are too far north for me to get to. Any info on wade-able streams would be much appreciated. I'm open to fly suggestions/info also (I usually carry a few Sneaky Petes, some Near-Nuff Crayfish, and beadhead buggers..). Thanks in advance.
