What basic cost is it for salmon (sea-trout) fishing in USA?

FWIW, typical numbers in the US are ~$50-80. The actual answer depends on the out-of-state fishing license fee(s) set by state in which you wish to fish, and those fee(s) vary from state to state. If you know the state where you wish to fish then you can find the fee by going to "http://www.state.xx.us" (insert state abbreviation instead of "xx") and then search using the keyword "fishing". You'll need to root around a bit, but eventually you'll either find the fishing regulations book for the state, or a site where you can purchase a license on-line. Either one should contain the out-of-state license fee(s).
