Joe Pool Lake
Anyone here fish Joe Pool Lake? If so, what is the fly fishing like and are there any recommendations on where/how to fish it? I am new to fly fishing. I prefer to fish for trout on rivers and streams. However, I live 5 minutes from Joe Pool and would love to start fishing there. Just wondering if Joe Pool is conducive to fly fishing and what you can fish for. Also, is there any local fly shop that might have some info about fishing Joe Pool? Anyone with any help about this lake would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I think you'd need a boat or kayak to access much of it very effectively. I think there is some wade fishing done for spawning white bass in the creek that feeds into it during the spring.
