1st stop.. the Metolius near Camp Sherman Oregon

I was there on July 6th and 7th. I logged about 15 hours on stream and caught one 4" trout. Not much hatching, not much water but a ton of other fisherman.
I saw a few very large fish (probably Bull Trout) and one actual rise of a nice fish. I talked to a few fisherman and nobody seemed to be catching anything.
The area is very beautiful. The river superb. I am sure there are nice fish there for someone who has more skill than I.
Good ice cream in the camp sherman store.
Nice Forest Service campgrounds right on the river.
