excellent guide..

I spent a day floating the Deschutes River near Maupin Oregon and I can't say enough good things about the guide I had. His name is Bob Guard and he books through Deschutes Canyon Fly Shop (www.flyfishingdeschutes.com).
He has been guiding in Oregon, first on the McKensie and now and Deschutes, for more than 30 years.
Everything about the trip was excellent, from the advice and help to the lunch provided.
If you get the opportunity to go to Maupin, consider Bob.
