Diving Frog (deer Head Clouser)

DIVING FROG (DEER HEAD CLOUSER)

A great lake trout and pike fly here in Quebec





HOOK- Large big game hook 1/0 to 8/0
Thread- Black or Tan (3/0) Big Game, Monocord or Kevlar
Tail- Chartreuse rabbit strip
Body- White Crystal chenille
Wing- Chartreuse crystal flash, white bucktail
Eyes- Bead chain
Head- White and chartreuse deer hair trimmed to create the head

Very nice fly, I bet that tail (rabbit strip) drives um wild, I may have to try that pattern myself.
