Not My Pattern, But This Looks Killer!
YouTube - atado de moscas capitulo I
I'm going to tie a few of these pronto! Looks like it would be great in small and larger sizes, and a simple pattern to tie. |

Re: Not My Pattern, But This Looks Killer!
It is a good looking fly! I only "press one for english" and some Turkish that I haven't used in a few years. Any translations for the materials?

Re: Not My Pattern, But This Looks Killer!
OK, did a little research online and found this site for translations:
Yahoo! Babel Fish - Text Translation and Web Page Translation Might be good for everyone to use for travel, etc. Looks like it's red deer hair (I'm guessing elk or deer would be OK, since red deer are normally found in Europe) The wings and legs are turkey. I have been making legs out of Pheasant Tail with the knot thing...Never thought about turkey, but then Pheasant is cheaper and easier to get.

Re: Not My Pattern, But This Looks Killer!
I tied that fly...sort of. I forgot all about the legs and the wing broke apart on me. I need to try it again tomorrow. I posted the first attempt in the gallery, although I think it may be too big a photo and get deleted. I can't quite figure out how to resize the photo on my mac right now.
