Parachute Midge Dry Fly
I guess its a midge? I used black fine dubbing and some olive ice dub blended together to make the body used poly for the post. its a size 16. used size 14 hackle. this was hard to tie! glad it came out as good as it did. actually floats without floatant too!!! heres the pic.

Very well done, I've tryed tying something similar with the hair perpindicular to the hook shank, but I got probs with getting the hackle to sit right. Do you use smaller feathers for that part? Do you strip one side or leave both sides?
