This is in a responce to a prior thread Klinkhammer special and is my version for the North East early season quill hatch you may want to try this pattern when they arn't taking the standard dries. If anyone would like to see a step by step let me know here and I will post it.

Materials;
1. any size 10-14 scud or curved nymph hook
2. olive 3/0 - 6/0 tying thread
3. white cavs tail or poly yarn for post

5. dark olive spectra blend dubbing

Re: Early Klinkhammer Special

Hi Allen,

Thanks for the picture and recipe. I see you posted it in the General fly tying section. Would you mind if I move it over to the "Share Patterns" section.? If you include Step by Step with pictures I will post it in the FAQ section.

Frank
