reel for beginner's new rod

Hello,
I am just getting started and ordered a rod : GLX 9ft SD Metolius 4-Piece Rod - 6WT . What reels are recommended ? It sounds as if the reel is the least important of the package.
Thanks
Jsail

I'd go with either a Lamson Velocity or a Ross Rythym.

A SA GPX or a Rio Grand line would be good to get started with as well.
