Hello from East Texas
Hello, Ernie here from Overton, Texas. Fairly new to fly fishing, about 2 year total. So far have only fished for warm water species. Not that I have anything against trout fishing or for that matter saltwater fishing, just that both a at least 3 hours from my location.
That's all for now. Ernie |

Re: Hello from East Texas
Howdy Ernie
Nice bass you got there One of our local lakes around Amarillo had a lake record for large mouth bass 12.25 pounds caught on a fly rod. What a fight that must of been. |

Re: Hello from East Texas
Thank you. That bass was caught while on a guided trip with Woodruff Guide Service on Lake Fork. I was suprised to see his add on this site the first time I looked at it. I recommend him highly if you are in the east texas area. A 12.25 pound bass would be on heck of a fight.
