Love this site. As a newbie I have been trolling around for a while, and decided to get more involved. I went on my first real fishing trip this week in cody Wyoming and Yellowstone, lot of fun and caught one Rainbow.

Thank you for not treating those of us who do not know a lot with respect, that does not always happen. I will write more about my trip later.

I live in Cheyenne, and if anyone here or close to here has any rivers or lakes close by that they use I would love to know.

First off welcome to the forum. We have some great folks here!

I'm from Laramie, I fish the Grey Reef, the North Platte over by Saratoga, some of the lakes near Walden and I like to fish the Roaring Fork and the Colorado River. Attached is a photo of a brown trout I caught this afternoon on North Delaney Lake just west of Walden, CO. We got run off the lake with the ususal afternoon lightning storm.
