Hello everyone, I'm new to fly fishing, want to learn everything I can. Will be going for trout mostly. Any advice is welcome. Thank You it looks like a awesume site

Welcome to the forum. To get started you need to read all you can lay your hands on, videos are even better. You may want to subscribe to a fly fishing magazine. You local fly shop is a great source of information. If there is a fly fishing club in your area you should join. Take some casting lessons before you buy a rod. Read the forums on NAFFF that cover the type of fly fishing you are interested in. Check out the FAQ forums on NAFFF. The last and maybe most important is to be an active member of this forum and ask a bunch of questions.

Welcome!

Don't overlook your local library's inter loan system....Go and ask for it and see what's available, I've picked up all kinds of books on many topics of fly fishing....
