Hello everyone from Overland Park Kansas (south part of KC). Just took up the fly rod again after many years with no fishing at all. Never was much of a fly fisherman but have spent many hours on the water casting for bass, walleye and other game fish such as pike and muskie. Tournament fished for about 5 years back in the 80's as well. This fly fishing thing is a completely different can of worms and I can see how you get hooked on it (literally in my case at least twice so far ). I think I have read almost all the threads especially those about choosing equipment and matching up rods, lines, leaders and flys, etc. Thanks to all the "old pros" for taking time to develop a great resource for a noob like myself. Looking forward to becoming part of the community.

Hello Hunter,
Glad to hear you picked up the flyrod again, and yes it can be very addicting.
Hope to be of some help for you, don't be shy about asking questions, we all had to start somewhere.

Good luck and go fishin.
