newbie brit from over the pond

a big hello to you all
at the age of 57 just taken up ff its brilliant
using greys accuflex 9ft6 in7#8 rod as on reservoirs caught 1st 2.5lb trout last sat rainbow .now im really hooked.will be buying lighter rod for river work .
the hardest part is learning to cast ,,that took a couple of months ,timing is everything ,but being retired ive got lots of time to practice.
nice site ,plenty of info .
