Wyoming Golden Trout
Hi,
I am new to your forum. Does anyone have suggestions for catching Golden Trout in the Wind River Range? I will be around the Cook and Wall Lake area during the first week in August.

Hi Trout Lady,
Welcome to the forum. We have a great bunch of ladies that post. I have not fished for Wyoming Golden trout but I have fished for California Golden Trout. My most successful fly was the Adam's Irresistible. I also use the Mosquito. While they worked well in California they may not be the best for Wyoming. I believe the Wyoming Golden Trout are the same fish as the California Golden trout. You best bet is the fly shop in down town Pinedale. They have maps and can provide what flies you need.
