Anyone Recycle?

Ok, for a few years I've been picking up litter along rivers and lakes, saving aluminum, more recently started recycling paper & cardboard, and saving used batteries in a bucket for proper disposal.

Been thinking about going the next step and recycling plastic and glass, I'm looking for some idea's on a collection system for this type of material.

My area is a little behind the times on "recycling" and having large recepticles that get picked up routinely at your home, has not found my neighborhood as of yet.... So I'm left with collecting and taking to the center myself.

Please hit me with some thoughts on a collection center, or pics if your ahead of me on this......

HMM, sounds like a bit of a challenge. One idea I'll throw out, assuming you drive something with a tailgate, is to figure out a way to have your bins at tailgate height so as to reduce the need for lifting a little bit.

I think I will crush all glass bottles, save them is a big old garbage can and then go do this next Winter.
Seen it on t.v. a while back, they craft some beautiful things.
