Portable Fish Finder (weed finder)

Hi, I am new to the forum and want to say I have been following this forum for a couple of months and find it informative and, occasionally, amusing.

I do a little float tubing up here in the Great White North and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation to pass along for portable weed finders. I will be on small lakes or streams looking for trout, bas or just to pass the time and enjoy.

I use a Lowrance on the old Tuna Trawler and it find weeds as well as any I have tested.

Thanks for your time.
