Fly2fish, looks like you may have to extend your trip to the Wyoming area, but the way it sounds it may not be much better. You could always concentrate on still waters if you had to.

Sure is hard not to cuss something that we needed so badly!
You're scaring me, Fyshstykr - you really expect high run-off will continue into mid-September when I'm up in Grand Tetons & Yellowstone?

You're right, though - it's a small price to pay for the end (hopefully) of that terrible drought.

BTW, what Midgeaholic means, I think, is the Similar Threads listing at the bottom of every thread's "page".

Fly2fish,
September?, oh for some reason I thought you were coming up in the July timeframe.
I hope it's all runoff by then , but it's looks like more snow over the next few days up that way.

The "similar threads" listing for the Juan, I will look for that as I'm not sure I have ever noticed it, thank you for the heads up.

I usually don't either. Had a finger cramp while scrolling and found those posts by accident. LOL

Re: The San Juan NM

The all time worst cramp is those hamstring ones that strike in the middle of the night and wake you up in total agony. Take forever to loosen up, by then your wide awake and can't get back to sleep.
