Screen Resolution

Hey folks... Mike and I have a question for you...

How many of you guys... if any, are viewing this forum with a 800 x 600 screen resolution? The forum is design for a setting of 1024 x 768 and higher. I keep my monitor resolution set at 1024 x 768 and the forum look is great. My wife keeps her monitor set at 800 x 600. When I view the forum from her computer, the right side of the screen is blown out. The overall appearance of the forum is not very appealing.

We're not going to worry too much about that if no one is viewing the forum at 800 x 600. If a significant number of you are however... there's a few tweaks that Mike can do to enhance your viewing pleasure.

So... what resolution are you using?
Not sure?... Well does all the forum page fit inside your computer screen without having to scroll to the right?

Please let us know.

I also keep my monitor resolution set at 1024 x 768 and the forum look is great. And probably will stay that way as long as Curtis doesn't post that pic of himself wrapped in Christmas cellophane while wearing a bikini.

I will tell tell you this, and you can bank on it. If Curtis ever posts any picture like he has described, he will be instantly banned for life!

Re: Screen Resolution

That sounds scary. Would a pic of Curtis in a bikini even fit in a screen at 800 x 600???

Anyway... yes, I agree. My screen is set at 1024 x 768 and the forum looks great... great job Mike!!!

I was speaking to a couple of my web services folks and they say that still about 50% of the computerized population still prefer 800 x 600. I'm not sure if that's that case or not. So, I'd like see how our membership views the situation.

So... what do you think???
