Re: The "Shout out" thread....
Fysh...I'm out too. Gettin' up with the kids tomorrow morning. Think I will go read (an excellent book about the Lewis and Clark expedition btw. "Undaunted Courage" by Stephen Ambrose) and then hit the sack.
Thanks again for all the help. I well let you know all the details about Tuesday morning. Later. |

Re: The "Shout out" thread....
Sorry..... had to go for a minute, we have temporarily adopted a stray Yellow Lab, came wandering up to me today and acted like he had known me for years.
Beautiful dog, hope we can find his owners tomorrow. Night all, glad to see this thread rollin. Didn't take ya long to get the hang of it.

Re: The "Shout out" thread....
Good Morning everyone, Happy Saint Patricks Day!!!
What have you got planned for the day? We're sorting tax papers for the year, going for a drive to check a couple lakes for ice out, and stopping at a little local restaurant for the annual St Patty's Day dinner of "Corned Beef and Cabbage". MMMMMMM!!!! Maybe a green beer or two this evening....

Re: The "Shout out" thread....
It's not really morning but I did just get up!! LOL. Got to love graveyard shifts.
Off to the store to get a steak, then some computer work. After that is patrol time. I will be dealing with all those who have one too many green beers. I'll have to settle for a regular one at the end of my shift. Davo

Well we found his owner today. The guy asked if we wanted to keep him, He's 2 yrs old, papered and his son doesn't spend much time with him. Nice dog, well behaved, good manners, and listens pretty well(considering he is penned up all the time), he had a great time playing ball with the kids from the neighborhood, very affectionate dog. Told him that we needed to think about it overnight and that we would let him know tomorrow. About broke my heart to watch him go, he did not want to go home. He got along well with my Lab Lexi too. We're thinking we will go get him tomorrow.
