Re: The "Shout out" thread....

LOL, I have noticed a the # of looks this thread gets.

My intention was for it to become an "ongoing chat" in which ongoing friendships would be built, and it has definately done that, but honestly I wish even more people would get involved in it.
It seems that it is mainly just a few of us that really chat it up,(you, Dorian, Skibum, and myself).

So for all you lurkers, come and B.S with us.

I am going to head down there for that this year i believe.

Hello Mtskibum,
It could be up that way around Memorial Day, keep an eye on the fishing reports for the lower section around Ashton and the Warm River.

With the delayed warmer temps it could be late this year.

I heard that you guys have one of the earlier salmonfly hatches, and i really want to pound them for about a month or so this year.

So i bet i head down your way when it starts. Hopefully the water will be fishable when the salmonflies come out.

Do you have a link to a website that has up to date fishing reports for henry's fork?

I will give you a weeks notice before i head down there, it would be great if you could join me.

I have only fished the salmonfly hatch a couple times(on the madison), but it is by far my favorite hatch. Big bugs are fun.

Seriously guys....one nice thing about my job is that I can rearrange my schedule to slip out almost any day. Any time you guys want to make a trip to this area let me know. I would love to accompany you all. Especially to pick your brains and have you take a look at my cast if you don't mind!
