Not in a long time. It's hard to travel to far with good fishing so close. Also hard to get time off, for me and my guide buddies. Rare we have enough to fill a boat. Two is about the best you can hope for.

How about the "Salt River"? or some of the other tribs going into Palisades?
Do any of your friends run "Clackas" with the new "Gulfstream" bottom? if they do, what do they think of them?

Fishing buddy of mine that lives in Alpine fishes the Salt all the time. I have not floated with him on the Salt in a couple of years. Hope to do more this season though. It fishes well I know that!!

No we don't guard his place. For about a 3rd of the Wilson to South Park stretch you float by his place. It's on the east side of the river.
Yes I did work tonight. Covering for my captain who is out of town. Been a fun one too. Backed the PD on a guy who resisted arrest. Then had a drunk go ballistic at a bar we contract with. Got him wrestled to the ground and held him till PD officers showed up. One doorman got popped in the mouth. Couple other Public Intoxication calls. Just finish my reports. Hate the paper work part!! LOL. The real fun will be next weekend. Jackson hosts the National Snowmobile Hill Climb Championship every year. Not a hotel room to be had for miles. It gets crazy.

Greg dropped off my write on the Snake today so I will try to get it typed up and posted tonight. I got shift supervisor slot tonight so if does not get to crazy I should be able to get it done. I'll slap an announcement post up here when I'm finished. Everybody have a great night.

wade fishing in the park is tough unless your willing to walk farther than the other guy. If you come back give me a holler and I'll direct you to that spring creek on the Deadman to Moose stretch. you can get there from inside the park with out floating.
