Thanks for the great compliment. I'd leave the Whitewater stretch to rubber boats full of wet tourists. Hard to get in a good cast while your hangin on tight, or weaving through all the rafts and kayaks.

Thinking about topic for my next article. Right now I'm leaning toward multi part on Fly Fishing Streamers. What do you all think?

Sorry I meant multi part as in part 1, part 2, part 3.......ect. Though I would be hard press to get more than 3 parts I think.

Looks like your gonna get a little tonight, and then again on Thursday. It's all mainly stayin north of here.
Got a couple places I'm watching for iceout right now, hopefully within a couple weeks.....

Just came in from patrol. At the moment we are get a mix of rain and snow. Nothing really sticking in the valley. But as usual the high country will be different. But that will help a lot with drought conditions and come fire season.

Speakin of fires and firefighters, I met a couple of the helicopter guys that coordinate firefighting in the area last year at "The Fox's cornered" bar in Swan Valley, them guys have a great sounding job, crazy buggers....
Dang that place has a good burger, and plenty of cold beer.
