Re: The "Shout out" thread....

Yeah Fysh, if he ever wants someone to go out with (and fish) I would be happy to do it. I have yet to go fly fishing with someone that knows more than me (sad but true, not that I know a lot....I don't, just that I don't know people that want to fish with me.)

I think I am planning my last float of the season for me on Monday. I might do Conant to Cottonwood or Wolf to Heise. I am very familiar with the last section, so I might do the first choice just to mix it up a bit. We'll see.

Any takers??

I spoke to you on the phone when we were in Swan Valley.
We will definately go next Summer, and go float the Teton.

Any takers??I would really like to make a season ender on Monday, but with the forcast for Sun-Tue it looks like I'm gonna be movin' Snow.

Tell you what, I might be coming back that way and fishing the lower river above Pokie next week with our friend brett(the guide living in I.F.), If we decide to go I will definately get ahold of you.
How's that sound?

Re: The "Shout out" thread....

You're right Fysh, you certainly did throw me an invite or two this summer. It is too bad I couldn't make it happen.

Let me know what day you think you might be in and around Pokie and I'll see if I can get work off.

I'll let you know how it goes Monday.

Hopefully we can do one or two trips next summer for sure!

Dorian

I went up to the Miracle Mile section of the North Platte on Saturday, a friend told me about a "short cut", I got lost twice, but finally figured out how to get there. Those dirt roads in WY aren't marked very well. I caught two fiesty rainbows, then decided to take a look at the stream up near the dam as I have never been up that high. The road does a slow climb away from the river as you get close to the dam, I had to park and get out to peek over the side to get a good look at the stream. Saw a guy fishing with a spinning outfit, he had a tremendous brown trout on the line. Very envious!

Next summer we will have to get a fishing trip together with Fysh and Davo on the SF! I wanted to get up there this fall but I had a u-joint fail which caused a crack in the rear half of the transmission of my truck. After getting it fixed ($3k) I gave the truck to my son and bought a new truck. It had 170k miles on it.

Larry

Davey Boy, Can you shoot me a link for the 'Detail Kit' that you ordered to clean up your boat this Spring?

Fysh

Here is the link Aurora Marine Indusries Featured Special - Environment safe boat care products that work. System matched for guarenteed results.

This should take you right to the page for their "Shiny Boat Kit". It includes three of their cleaning solutions Boat Clean Plus, Boat Scrub, and Boat Shine plus a boat scrub mitt used with the boat scrub to take off oxidation before applying the shine. Mine lasted all season and still going with one application. Well worth the asking price of $75.00.
