It think you have to deal with Romo a little differently. You can't just leave him in all game to explode because he's got no damage control mode. He'll throw ten interceptions on a bad day if you let him and work in a couple of fumbles for good measure. When you see him going south like that, you just pat him on the head, tell him to go get some lunch with Jessica, and take the rest of the afternoon off. All you can do is wait for his next flurry of greatness and any backup will do when he's having one of his moments.

STEELERS

I've had season tickets with my family since i was 9. So they are my team, and i would love to see them in the super bowl again.

L.C. greenwood and my father were good friends when i was young so i got to meet a lot of good old-school players.

Re: Whos your team

Rover, those were some epic Steeler/Cowboy battles back in the day. They are my early memories of the NFL. At the time your team was hated so by default, much like the Niners. Over time, I've developed a soft spot for both teams out of nostalgia. In the case of SF though it's easy because they are no threat and I kind of feel sorry for them.

Right now though the NFL is kind of like watching Formula 1. You already know who the winner will be and you are just hoping for a good race.

Re: Whos your team

Akin played DE in HS but has spent most of his college and pro career playing ILB. They will stand him up on the line matched up with a TE or to blitz on occasion, but he's mostly playing a standard ILB spot. In HS he played TE as well and was probably our best reciever, along with being mighty hard to bring down.

The guy laid the hardest shot on me I ever took. We were doing d-line drills and I had to stand up and separate from the guard and then tackle a RB coming thru the hole. Akin Ayodele with a 3 step head start is quite a thing to bring down when you're standing still.

Our other DE from that year also went pro- Patrick Chukwurah

Since he's not the athletic specimen that Manning, Brady, or conVick is, Romo has to be making those snap decisions very well to be a great QB. He just hasn't yet figured out how to do that consistently yet. (int= bad decision)

Sure did, and to be honest I thought he was still there. Haven't followed him as closely, as he was just generally kinda hard to like.

But maybe I'd be cranky too if I had to grow up with the nick-name "P-Chuk". (his older brother had dibs on "Chuk")
