Re: Workin for a livin...

Well, I'm an agent of the US Government. I'm fortunate enough to work an average six hour day, five days a week, and am paid for 9 hrs, 20 minutes a day. That sort of equals a part-time job, with full-time pay. I consider myself extremely lucky. I've done this job for going on 11 years.

I also work, at very little pay, as a restaurant reviewer/food critic (yeah, it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it) for a regional magazine. I'm now in my 14th year, and have reviewed restaurants in 15 or 20 states, as well as both Canada and Mexico.

And oh yes, the agent of the government thing? I'm a rural mail carrier, with a daily route of 83 miles, serving 560 families on my route. A goodly portion of my route runs along part of the western bank of Kentucky Lake, giving me lots of wonderful glimpses of water every day. My customers run from millionaires in 750 thousand dollar houses, to folks on government assistance living in 750 dollar house trailers. I truly love the job(s), and the folks I serve.

Sahagan

Thats Cool Joni!!
I've heard the name of your Band before, not sure where, but I have heard of you before.

We need to ask Zoso, it could be him that I heard the name from?
He's from this area too.

I can relate man, a couple years ago I was in Carlisle, PA for a week and selling in Mechanicsburg. I found out after the fact that Carlisle is the home of the famed LeTort Spring Run, Pennsylvania Trout Sampler, by Ben Ardito and that Stackpole Publishing Stackpole Books - Product List is one of a very few businesses I didn't visit. DOH!!!

ATTENTION! For those who visited Joni's band's website, I DO NOT RECOMMEND playing "I ain't goin bald" out loud at work.

great stuff there Joni!
