I think this could come in very handy. I have installed a "Links Directory". I figure if everyone added some of their favorite fly fishing online sources, the database will then make it available to any of the members looking for some people to check it out and let us know what is up..

For the following reason...

A huge factor in getting this forum a better ranking in all search engines is to have many other sites linking to our site. One way to do this is by link exchanges. I will soon email a huge amount of fly fishing related web sites offering to place their link on our site if they in turn put a link to the forum on their site. Then our incoming external links will grow giving us a much better search engine ranking. So... when folks do a search for fly fishing information... this forum should show up high on the results list. This will be more benificial to us than to just allow anyone to place a link on the forum links page with us getting nothing in return.

So folks... if you know of a web site who would like to do a link exchange let me know.

1: I thought you would like it.

2: You (as an admin) can control usergroup permissions in the admincp for all of the various usergroups.

3: You can make it so that ALL submissions must be approved prior to their displaying.

Just fiddle around with the permissions untill you get what you like..
