I wasn't sure where to post this, but this seemed most fitting.

I've created a Dashboard Widget that users of Apple Mac OS X can use to see new posts made to the forum right from their desktop.

It will display the 5 most recent posts, sorted by date, along with a preview sample of text (which can be made long or short, with the option to choose).

Clicking the title of the post will open up your browser and bring you to that thread.

When you download it, just unzip the file, and double click the new widget. You will see a preview of the widget, and a confirmation box asking you if you want to install it. Once you install it, just open up Dashboard, open the pane to select widgets, and then drag it to your desktop (just like any other widget).

Then you're good to go

This is the first widget I've ever made, so it isn't as "fancy" as I'd eventually like it to be, but it works pretty well. Hopefully there will be more widgets to come in the future.

(Windows users, I apologize ...I'd like to make a Yahoo! widget that Windows users can use, but I don't know how yet, but if I get the chance to figure it out, I will make an identical version for you)
