That I am very proud to be associated with this forum and the members that post here. I have been posting on various forums, blogs, bulletin boards for quite a few years now and I must say that the members here are head and shoulders above the norm.On most sites, usually all sites if you give it enough time, there are always a few members that seem to want to do nothing but stir up trouble and cause everyone to lose intererest in the forum. When this happens the forum usually dies a quick and very painful death.I think that this forum has drawn a much higher caliber of person and it shows in the posts, the interactivity, and the number of new members and older members posting or at least visiting on a daily basis.I just wanted to say thank you and that you people have made all of my countless hours of work well worth the effort..You guys/gals are the best..

I agree and thanks to all as well! Thanks especially to Steve and Mike, for getting the ball rolling and for keeping it in motion.

I totally agree that the members here are head and shoulders above the norm. I think that, overall, fly fishers have a more ethical attitude and therefore conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen. That's the way our fly fishing forefathers built it... and, for the most part, that tradition has continued. It certainly has on this forum. So, I too thank each and every member for participating in this close knit community.

OK, enough of this mushy crap... let's go fishing!!!

All in fun...
I'd like to mention another thing. Most of you have figured it out by now that several of us poke fun at each other on the forum. Please remember, its all in good fun. For example, Mike and I have never met in person, only on the forum, but I feel that he's a good friend now. We poke fun at each other on a regular basis. Mike and Curtis exchange the same type of pokes. Doug, BigCliff and several others join in the fun too. I'd like for all forum members to feel free to join us in this friendly banter. We're all one big happy family here.

But also remember... we're serious about fly fishing. When it comes to fly fishing... we eat, drink and sleep the stuff. We will always approach your questions and concers seriously. So whether you need advice, opinions, or just a little information. We're all eager to help and we'll shoot strait answers to you.
